Australian Greens Senator Rachel Siewert has expressed continued support for the family of Ms Dhu after the WA state coroner’s reserved her decision to release the CCTV footage until a later date.
“The coroner reserving her decision will be difficult for the family of Ms Dhu who feel they have waited two years to get to this point.
“I have no doubt that this will be an agonising wait for the family who have campaigned for so long.
“It will also be difficult for family members who travelled long distances to attend court today.
“I am hoping the wait for the Coroner's decision is not too long and the outcome is a positive one”.
