Greens MLC Lynn MacLaren MLC will today join the Rally for the People and Planet on the steps of Parliament accepting a petition from members of the Pesticide Action Group, Alliance for a Clean Environment and Save Our Trees WA.
Ms MacLaren will deliver a petition to the Upper House calling for a Royal Commission into the regulation, importation, sale and use of pesticides, related illnesses and environmental harm with a view to fully exposing the systematic failure, evidence of harm to humans, animals and the environment.
