Important win for truth in labeling as WA egg producer found guilty – Greens

It was a very important win for truth in labelling today as the Federal Court in Perth found WA egg producer Snowdale Holdings contravened the law by mislabelling its eggs ‘free range,’ Greens animal welfare spokesperson Lynn MacLaren has said. 
“As one of the largest supermarket suppliers in WA, this verdict will have a huge impact.”
“Snowdale Holdings duped Australian consumers for many years by producing eggs that did not meet free range standards.
