New Greens electorate office opens in Kinjarling Albany

2025-11-26

WA Greens MLC Jess Beckerling is opening a new electorate office in the heart of Kinjarling Albany, creating a dedicated local base for community members in the Great Southern.

Located at 4/4 Peels Place, Kinjarling Albany, the new office will provide a local point of contact for the community on state-based issues.

The office will support people across the region to seek support, raise local issues, and connect with Jess’s work across her portfolios, including environmental protection, First Nations justice, women and children, family and domestic violence, and more.

To mark the opening, Jess Beckerling MLC is inviting the community to an electorate office opening celebration on Wednesday 26 November 2025 at 6.00pm at 4/4 Peels Place, Kinjarling Albany.

The event will include short remarks from Jess, light refreshments, and an opportunity for community members to see the new space, meet the team and share the local issues that matter most to them.

Boorloo-based Tim Clifford MLC and Walyalup-based Brad Pettitt MLC will be in Kinjarling Albany for the office opening.

The Greens (WA) spokesperson for the Regions and the Great Southern, Jess Beckerling MLC said the office was about making sure her work in Parliament stays firmly grounded in the needs and voices of people in the region.

"The Greens have always had strong roots in the Great Southern, and this office is about deepening that connection.

“People here care deeply about country, community and justice. Whether it’s protecting forests and wetlands, supporting women and children experiencing family and domestic violence, standing with First Nations communities, or making sure regional voices are heard, I want this office to be a place where people know they can come, be listened to, and get support.

“I am incredibly proud to represent the regions in the WA Parliament. I want this office to feel like an open door – a welcoming, community-led space where people can get help, be heard, and work together for a fairer, greener future for the Great Southern.”
