Estimates confirms no tunnel design exists and no transfer of funding of PFL until full project proposal documents completed.
In dramatically shortened Senate Estimates session tonight Scott confirmed the department of infrastructure had not received detailed plans or a formal Project Proposal Report for the Tunnel section of the PFL, which was allocated $261m in the federal budget.
According to their own Act, they are not allowed to transfer money until they receive full PPRs.
Scott also confirmed no money has been transferred to the states.
And that they will consult with communities on the location of the stacks, and design, and that it should be subject to federal assessment too.
All posing more serious delays to the project.
