The Office of Senator Jordon Steele-John is seeking expressions of interest from community campaigner(s) to support the team in engaging with constituents in Western Australia in the lead-up to the 2025 Federal Election.
Duties will be set based on the successful applicant's skills and availability. They may include:
- Attending meetings and events within the Perth Metro area with the Senator.
- Identifying community engagement opportunities for the Senator.
- Planning and delivering online and in-person community events.
- Communicating with key stakeholders, community groups and individuals.
- Capturing short videos and photos for social media.
- Working following workplace health and safety procedures, and other office policies.
This is a casual contract position with hours to be fulfilled between January and April 2025. We are seeking expressions of interest from people who are available evenings and weekends, and who are available to work between 9 and 30 hours per week. All shifts would be for a minimum of 3 hours, paid at $40 per hour.
