Hi, I’m Tim! I work in community housing, I’m passionate about shaking up politics, and I’m excited to be your Greens candidate for Riverton at the state election.
I believe the major parties are failing us on renters' rights, affordable housing and addressing the cost of living crisis. Riverton is home to more than 10,000 renters, and the average cost of a rental has skyrocketed from $400 in 2020 to $750 in 2025. The major parties are ignoring the needs of our community, and it’s time we make them listen.
Our precious urban bushland, our forests and our drinking water are all under threat because rich developers and irresponsible miners like Alcoa dominate Labor's approach to planning and environmental protection. This government’s surrender to the gas industry has left WA – which should be a renewables powerhouse – the worst climate performer in Australia.
Neither major party has a plan for future-proofing our transit options that doesn’t involve endless highway expansions and gridlock. I will push hard for sustainable planning, comprehensive public transport and safer cycling and walking infrastructure for Riverton.
This election we have a real opportunity to get more Greens into parliament to push the government further and faster on issues that matter to us, like urgent action on the cost of living, housing and climate crises.
A better future for WA is possible – but we have to make it happen together.
If you want change, you have to vote for it.
See you out there!
