Hi, I’m Verity! I’m a health promotion student, and I’m excited to be one of your Greens candidates for the Senate at the federal election.
I’ve been impacted significantly by the housing crisis, which – like so many in WA – has left me homeless. The government is failing us, and I’m ready to call them out so we can push them to start looking after real people like you and me – instead of themselves and their corporate donors.
I’m campaigning for access to affordable housing, increased social housing, renters rights, and better access to mental health services. I’m passionate about changing the future of Western Australia for the better, where everyone actually gets a fair go.
This election we have a real opportunity to get more Greens into parliament to push the government further and faster on issues that matter to us, like urgent action on the cost of living, housing and climate crises.
A better future for WA is possible – but we have to make it happen together.
