More Home Care Packages Now

Email the AGED CARE Minister:

Dear Minister Butler,

Right now more than 87,000 older Australians are waiting for the Home Care Package they’ve already been approved for.

Every day of delay means people are left without the basic support they need to live safely and with dignity in their own homes. Too often, this forces them into hospital or residential care long before it should have been necessary.

If nothing changes before November 1 the backlog will keep growing, leaving more people in crisis, putting unbearable pressure on families, and increasing costs across the health system.

I’m asking you to guarantee that every approved person receives the Home Care Package they need before November 1.

Older Australians can’t wait. Please do the right thing and act now.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

Labor needs to hear from people like you that this is simply not good enough.
