“Most Australians want a transition away from coal power, they can see the impacts of global warming already occurring.
“Instead of listening to the science and representing the people who elected them, the Coalition forms a coal faction to do the bidding of their backers in the fossil fuel industry.
“The privatisation of power has done more to drive up power prices than any other factor.
“With proper investment in renewable energy and bringing electricity generation under public and community ownership will ensure affordable, reliable electricity”.
