Government concern for coral bleaching insincere unless Adani mine stopped

With coral bleaching already confirmed in the Great Barrier Reef today and scientific concern for a mass bleaching event soon, the state and federal governments must overturn their approvals for the Adani coal mine.  
"The science is clear - it's coal or the Reef," Senator Larissa Waters, Australian Greens climate change spokesperson, said.
"Crying crocodile tears about coral bleaching while sending more and more coal ships out through the Reef is hypocritical.
"The Reef is already cooking but both the old parties are adding more fuel to the fire with the Southern Hemisphere's largest coal mine, and coal port right on its doorstep.
"We simply cannot lose our Reef - it's treasured across the world and employs 67 000 people," Senator Waters said.
