The Queensland Greens have called on Cameron Milner to be barred from any involvement in the Queensland Labor campaign, following revelations this morning that Milner, a lobbyist for Adani, was volunteering in Labor HQ.
“If it wasn’t already clear, the Queensland Labor Party are now the political wing for Adani. Cameron Milner is paid by Adani and works for Queensland Labor,” said Amy MacMahon, Greens candidate for South Brisbane.
“The same guy who negotiated with the Queensland Labor Government to get a $300 million taxpayer giveaway for Adani is now a volunteer in Queensland Labor HQ”.
“It now seems like Adani is helping to run both the Labor and LNP campaigns, with David Moore the co-strategic director of the same lobbyist company that works for Adani now expected to volunteer for the LNP campaign.”
The only way to fight corruption in Queensland - the only way to stop Adani - is to get Greens in state parliament.
