We have a bold vision for South Australia that will deliver a fairer, healthier future for all.
In a wealthy country like ours, everyone should have access to world-class public health, education, and affordable housing.
But right now, people are struggling to pay rent, see a doctor, or cover their energy bill, while 1 in 3 big corporations pay no tax and companies make record profits.
We need to ensure that the basics are more affordable and accessible for everyone, by investing in public services like transport, housing, healthcare, energy, and education. We must safeguard our future by taking action on the climate crisis, protecting our precious natural places, keeping SA nuclear-free, and focusing on renewable energy.
The Greens will always put people before big corporate profits, and will continue to push the government to do better.
The Greens will:
- Address the housing crisis: provide real help for renters
- Keep Uni and TAFE safe, equitable and affordable
- Protect the rights of animals
- Protect our environment before we see further habitat and species loss
- Build safer communities by preventing crime, not just policing it
- Provide cheap and accessible public transport
- Support thriving rural and regional communities
- Act to protect people from violence
- Focus on clean energy, not dirty gas
- Take climate action to keep global warming below 2˚C.
- Keep SA nuclear free: say NO to AUKUS
- Clean up politics & strengthen democracy
- Plan housing for people, not profit
- Rethink the way we travel
- Give kids the best chance at school
- Strengthen rights for workers
- Care for people, with universal free healthcare
- Put people back into planning
