The WA health system is in crisis.

Successive governments have underfunded and under-resourced our public health, mental health, aged care and disability support sectors, leaving Western Australians unable to afford or access the basic healthcare we deserve.

In such a wealthy state, the only reason hospitals are turning people away and people can’t afford to visit the GP is political will. It’s a choice to underfund WA’s health services and let people suffer, all while the gas industry doesn’t pay its fair share of tax.

The health and wellbeing of our community must always come first.

The Greens are calling for a massive public investment into WA’s health services, ensuring every Western Australian has access to the support and resources they need to live a good and healthy life. We will push for an inquiry into GP deserts to ensure better access to GPs around the state.

Getting healthcare right requires significant investment and collaboration between state and federal governments.

Western Australians deserve top-tier healthcare, without the fear of how much it’ll cost. Only the Greens have a plan to provide the free health care the community desperately needs.
