The Australian Greens are seeking a short-term contractor to conduct a project further analysing the performance of the Greens in key Lower House seats at the 2025 election.
The goals of this work program will be to:
- Provide a more thorough analysis of the strategies employed by key campaigns, including an evaluation of their effectiveness. This will include additional psephological analysis as well as a deeper evaluation with campaign participants.
- Produce a ‘blueprint’ or high-level strategic principles to inform future Lower House seat campaigning strategy and tactics, for the context of both retention and winning a seat for the first time.
- Identify opportunities for future growth in the Lower House, including more detailed psephological analysis of the pathway to win in various scenarios.
- Inform how the Australian Greens campaign budget and structure can be better equipped in future to support Lower House seat goals
- Deliver workshops and trainings to share insights and the strategic blueprint with Lower House seat campaigners across the country
Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria:
- Alignment with the Greens mission and pillars (desirable)
- Subject matter expertise and knowledge basis: experience with a ‘high-profile’ Lower House seat campaign within a Greens context (essential)
- Specific experience with one or more of the following:
- Data analysis, including psephological analysis (essential)
- Workshop design and facilitation (desirable)
- Strategy development (essential)
- Training delivery (desirable)
