Senator Sarah Hanson-Young is looking for a new team member to be based in Parliament House, Canberra.
As the Greens Manager of Business in the Senate and spokesperson for Environment, Communications & Arts policy, Senator Hanson-Young is looking for someone with the experience and interest to help maximise her work in these areas.
The role requires a broad range of skills including research, political analysis, policy work, managing stakeholder relationships and communications. Applicants should have an appetite for shaping political and public debate, with a focus on achieving outcomes.
Knowledge and experience in the communications, media and arts sphere and/or an interest in environmental policy is a bonus.
Working in a fast-paced environment, applicants must be able to learn quickly, think on their feet and keep their cool under pressure. This position will require some travel.
We are looking for someone with an interest in parliament, politics and getting things done.
A salary package of between $90 - 120k (plus 15.4% superannuation) will be offered based on skills and experience.
A relocation allowance is available to assist in helping the successful applicant relocate to Canberra if required.
