- Who can nominate for the Legislative Council?

We welcome nominations from Greens members who…
- Share our core values of ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy, social justice, and peace and non-violence.
- Enjoy working with others, care about their community, and value listening to different perspectives.
- Are able to make time for meetings, briefings and connecting with community members.
- How do I submit a nomination?

Simply email us at nominations@tas.greens.org.au and be sure to include your first and last name.

Nominations to become an endorsed Greens candidate close on Sunday 21 December 2025.
- Do I have to be a Greens member to nominate?

Yes. You must be a current Greens member to seek endorsement.
