Local government is where meaningful decisions for our communities are made.
Local Councillors help shape how neighbourhoods grow and thrive – from protecting green spaces and planning for climate resilience, to safer streets, local services, arts, sport and events.
The Tasmanian Greens are accepting nominations from Greens members interested in running as an endorsed Greens candidate in the 2026 local council elections.
If you’ve ever considered stepping into local leadership, now is your moment!
