Senator-elect Janet Rice's Office
Senator-elect Janet Rice invites applications for the following positions, which commence 1 July 2014. All positions are fulltime and based in Melbourne. The four positions will form an electorate office team which will be campaign focussed, strategic and collaborative. The team will work with Senator Rice in the Parliament and the community towards achieving social and political change for a caring, just and sustainable world.
The Senior Advisor and Campaigner will provide strategy, campaign and policy advice; coordinate priority campaigns and manage staff.
The Communications Advisor will be responsible for both media engagement and other external communications; including managing the relationship between the Senator and the media, and production and publication of other communications materials.
The Campaigner will develop and strengthen networks of constituents and supporters across Victoria; develop and support community campaigns and ensure that the electorate and Greens members and supporters are informed and engaged with the work of the Senator.
The Office and Community Liaison Manager will ensure the efficient and effective running of the Senator's electorate office and be the main point of contact for the public.

Our members website, The Greenhouse, is aimed at providing a critical means for members to find information essential to their engagement with the Party and facilitating the work of our committees and working groups.
As part of a project to take the website to the next phase of development (see the development plans and recent report on recommendations) we need assistance from some dedicated people with a passion for organising information.
