Drozzy Flowers, or Sucky Flowers,
To call them by their informal names,
Izzy Bizzy Whitey Flowers dangling from a tree;
Yellow, orange, pink   ̶ Rainbow Flowers with rippling  prickly leaves;
Buzzem Flowers peeping from the nether sides of furry leaves;
Bright blue Dampys that get underfoot in the wet;
Spikesters, Snouts and Pocket Pop-Its
Exploding with cardigan pink;
Wriggling Johns;
Little Scatterheads, Big Scatterheads;
Sunny yellow Happy Hibs twisting in on themselves in the shade;
Fairy Cling Flowers;
Fluffy Fairy Cling Flowers
(when theyve lost their petals and become, perhaps,
a different species);
Patsy Dapsies that last for just an hour or two
And only on very special days;
Finger Flowers;
Five Tassel Flowers;
Bomby Bird Flowers in miniscule flocks;
Evening Sky Flowers glowing brightest
In the forests twilight hours;
Star drifts of tiny Eeny Weeny Flowers.
Like-Ems & Masses –
Furry, tufty, veiny, sodden carpets of Masses on rock.
Offered up to the sun
The luscious specks of lipstick pink
Knicker Flowers
Move like washing in the wind.
