FRIDAY DOOR KNOCK W/ SAMANTHA RATNAM

With the State Election coming up in November 2026, we're chatting to our community to hear about what's important to them.
No prior experience necessary; we'll provide training and support if you're new to door knocking! Feel free to invite family and friends along to knock with you - dogs and kids always welcome too :)
What to expect on the day:

Meet, coffee, briefing & conversations training
Head out to door knock
Wrap up door knocks, debrief and lunch/snacks

Campaign Night in Sunshine

Come along and be part of growing the Greens vote in Laverton, Melton, St Albans, Kororoit and Sydenham.  Make vital phone calls to supporters, or if calling is not your thing, enter data or bundle leaflets.  Dinner provided, usually with cake!

Training: gVIRS Data Entry & List Cutting

Data is the back bone of our campaigns, without it we would be left floundering without any clear direction. It's therefore so incredibly important we get as many people trained up in entering completed walk lists into the system so we can build better campaigns and increase our chances of winning.
Training will be happening once a fortnight on a Thursday aimed at teaching people best practice whether you are new to data volunteering or have just stepped up as a leader and want to know more about how it can assist you.

Train station stall - Laverton Station

When fuel prices first started going up, the Greens made public transport free for a month. Now we have the opportunity to make public transport free for good. Public Transport is insufficient in Point Cook district. Point Cook needs more buses more often, that directly link to the train stations and other key community hubs.
