Tax Big Corporations

TAX BIG CORPORATIONS!

Help us get big corps to pay their fair share and fund the things people actually need šŸ”„

It's time to properly tax big corporations so we can fund the things Canberrans really need.

Does it feel like you're drowning in bills, struggling to keep food on the table and worried about paying your rent or mortgage? You're not alone.

Right now big corporations are raking in massive profits from Canberrans struggling with the cost of living.

Following a series of failed and overspent projects under Labor Ministers, the ACT Government are now saying there's next to no money for the Budget and that they will have to make "tough" decisions. But Canberrans shouldn't be punished because of mistakes made by Labor Ministers.

That's why we've proposed an ambitious, measured and fair plan to tax big corporations in Canberra - to fund the things people really need and safeguard essential services from being cut..

Join the call to get Labor to choose everyday people over multimillion dollar corporations.

Our proposal would raise approximately $107 million per year - which can safeguard funding for essential services and help the government to:

🩺 Improve access to free GPs
šŸŽ Ensure ongoing funding for essential community supports like food relief and homelessness services
šŸ” More support for renters
🌳 Protect existing environment funding
🚌 Make public transport free for seniors, concession card holders and students
