Workplace Relations

Every worker deserves fair pay, secure jobs, and safe conditions. But right now, big corporations are raking in massive profits while millions of workers struggle with stagnant wages, job insecurity, and unsafe workplaces.

The major parties have let workplace laws favour corporations over workers, making it harder to get a stable job, negotiate better pay, and stand up for fair treatment.

The Greens are working to change that. We believe every worker should have strong rights, secure employment, and wages that keep up with the cost of living.

By strengthening workplace protections, supporting unions, and ensuring all jobs are fair and safe, we can build a more equal and prosperous society where no one is left behind.

The Greens have achieved real, concrete improvements for workers this term, including the right to disconnect and criminalising superannuation theft. These ten standards will continue to guide our approach to workplace laws in the coming Parliament.
