Hi, my name is Stuart Fletcher, and I’m proud to be representing the Greens in Coomera.

I’m a father to four incredible kids, a landscape gardener, and like many locals, have been an avid surfer. I love the beauty of our natural environment and I’m a passionate advocate for social justice and equality. 

Right now, so many people are struggling. House prices are through the roof, rent is out of control and cost of living is constantly rising. 

But there is hope - we can work together to make a real difference and help our community thrive.

Unlike other parties, the Greens don’t accept corporate donations so we will take on the big corporations that are ripping off Queenslanders. We’ll make them pay their fair share and use that money to build 100,000 public homes, fully fund schools and free childcare, hospitals and essential services. We’ll also freeze rents and cap increases.

We’ll increase public transport right across Queensland and make it free.

We’ll make groceries cheaper by breaking up the duopoly power of Coles and Woolies and stopping corporate price gouging for essentials. We’ll cut power bills with 100% publicly owned renewable energy.

The Greens are the only party standing up for everyday Queenslanders.
