About the Australian Greens

The Australian Greens are a political party based on four key pillars: ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy, social justice and peace and non-violence.

Our movement is focused on delivering the plans we need to ensure that everyone has a good life.  We're committed to ensuring that all people are treated equally, that our environment is protected, and that big donors can no longer buy the influence of politicians and governments.

The Greens plans' will see billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share, so we can invest now to create hundreds of thousands of good jobs, ensure everyone has an income they can live on, set young people up for the future and tackle the climate crisis.

The Greens are powered by an amazing network of grassroots supporters and members across the country. This grassroots approach has delivered Greens at all levels of politics, from local councils to federal parliament.

Your involvement and support will only make our movement stronger.
